Advice 8th Grade!

8th grade was a fun year I must say. It's almost like being at the top of the food chain for just a year and then that next year your on the bottom again. You think your the coolest thing ever, and have so many different friends. This year I have learned a lot of things that will carry on with me for forever! I have a lot of advice that can help you in the long run. #1 Always be yourself, no one likes someone that has to be controlled by someone else your supposed to have fun so have fun. And if your friends don't like it then they aren't your real friends. #2 Don't spread rumors. If you do you will never have any friends or people will talk about you badly. #3 ALWAYS DO YOUR HOMEWORK! I have a bad habit of doing my homework like the day it is due. If you want to succeed you have to do your homework.#4 Keep your grades up. Keeping your grades up will help you in the long run for college and things. #5 Have Fun! Don't have 8th be a super serious year have fun because in high school it all matter the most.

Reflection.

This year has been so laid back. I have learned many things from ACMS, I can tell that I am a better writer. I have a least 3 strengths and weakness. My favorite type of writing I think is essays. I like writing about my favorite things. I think my favorite thing to write about is Love. Love can bring happiness to everyone, it can be sad, happy. Everything! Next year I need to remember to make sure I include everything that could help my score get an advanced. Using my A to B transitions and using difficult word choice so my teacher know that I am trying my best and trying to achieve a good score.

Poem Word For Language Arts

Ironic

All of a sudden
The wind died down
He will now be with the heavens

Ironic: Means unexpected, which I made my sentence so it was unexpected like his death.

Spring Break Trip

This spring break I went to Orlando,Florida! It was such a great time there was so many things to do. I went to Clear water beach, Universal Studios, and Disney World! The first place I went to was Universal Studios where they have the hulk and harry potter and jaws and spider-man and so many more rides. My favorite ride their was the rip ride rocket which that ride took you 90 degrees up and straight down, the coolest part was that you got to pick your own music. Which I picked Stronger by Kanye West! We stayed at the hard rock hotel for 2 nights, this is where Ellen stayed one week before us. Next I went to Disney where we rented out a 5,000 sq foot house. It was HUGE:)! but we went to Epcot, Magic Kingdom and MGM aka Hollywood Studios, which they had so many fun rides and so much to do. The last days were spent at the perfect beach called clear water, the ocean was so salty the sun was so hot but the weather was so amazing! I got to experience a school full of stingrays and have people running out of the water and hearing a shark eat a bird as the water turned red. It was such a great vacation:) But now I'm back at school:/ ugh.

How Will I Go Down In History

I would like to go down in history having everyone knowing me as a great person and I would like to go down in history knowing that I accomplished my goals in life.

You have control on how your treat others and how you act.

Probably Not because we are only in 8th grade and there's so much more in life.

NOT DONE!

Prompt From Ms.Langlers Blog

1. Fugitive Slaves, this started the war because the north didn't want slaves but the south depended on them. Fugitive Slaves are slaves that escape to one state and travel to each other state.

2. The battle of Gettysburg and who ended up winning it all was the union. After they won the federal never won again.

3. Abraham Lincoln he stopped the slavery because he thought everyone was the same and should get the same things.
